Time management does have nothing to do with time! But it has a lot of doing with priorities.

But, how we define time management, today, and what different our interpretation has towards, similar, other “explanations“? It is only a matter of interpretation or a matter of the focus, that lead us to a different approach today. And if so, why we need something “different“?

Kendo, Flow & Productivity

A long time ago, when I was young, besides my efficiency and productivity endeavors[!], I had the opportunity to involve with and study various martial arts, both from a physical as well as from a philosophical and a historical point of view. Even though never I have the time (or the ambition, for that matter) to reach to a belt, or go ahead to a higher level, I get some valuable lessons, that I use them later in my life, on various occasions.

Life Strategies: Doing What Works, Doing What Matters

One of the most inspiring books, I have ever read, is a book by Phillip C. Mcgraw, Ph.D. entitled: Life Strategies: Doing What Works, Doing What Matters.

This book is focused on 10 life laws, providing a situation/life – strategy approach for resolving a given situation. The laws are presented in simple terms while the strategies described constitute small landmarks for rethinking given situations, most of the times we are not able to address in an effective way.

The main objective of Dr. Mcgraw, a behavior expert, is to make people review some well and long-established approaches and attitudes while he is providing possible ways for resolving situations we may find ourselves unable to resolve.
